Opened in 1986, CMP Meeting Services is one of the oldest firms in the meeting and convention managemnt industry
What is your primary product or service?
CMP Meeting Services is a full service meeting management firm
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was in the hospitality industry for 13 years prior to opening our firm in 1986.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We negotiate harder than most firms to develop the lowest priced meetings and events in the industry. Our knowledge and experience are vital to our clients when negotiating the contractual issues surrounding their meeting or event.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have six locations throughout the US.
What type of payments do you accept?
Most of our fees are paid for by the hotel or resort that the client contracts with... thus we are essentially a complimentary service for our clients.
Which areas do you service?
We handle meetings both domestically and internationally..
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
